    I see this is an old post, but in Kent County, we send the invoice to the guardian or conservator but expect the payment to come out of the ward’s estate. If the ward does not have sufficient assets, they file a fee waiver, and, if approved, we waive the charge.

    Thank you for sharing this, Jennifer. We will have to have a discussion regarding whether this is something we would be interested in doing in Kent County as well.
